He lives in Havana and works as a lawyer.

Hated it...it’s been heavily edited and all the juicy details removed by the publishers and his ridiculous widow. Was not worth it and my least favorite read. If you want “some” of the details from this diary, read Anderson’s book and Hilda’s book because this really just isn’t worth it.

I am an avid reader of very diverse genre's (just about everything but romance novels). It is not often I find an author with the talent to make me forget I am reading a book; much less grabs me into 'living' the story. I am thrilled to have been able to read and add this to my collection of his works.Beyond his talent, Che (once again) exposes the man he really was. His humor, passion for life, and love of people.Che Guevara has either inspired or been hated by millions of people around the world.Too, many people use his photo and quotes yet know nothing about who he really was and that is the true inspiration he gives all of us. He was and is so much more then a revolutionist, communist.For those who hate the man based solely on his revolutionary actions and political beliefs: it is a 'really should read' book. How can a person be condemned by so many who have never taken the time to learn who he really was as a human being?What drove him to leave his medical practice, family, money to fight knowing all along how his life would end? Why did he feel so strongly about the rights, equality, and fulfillment of basic needs for every human being?If nothing else, just pretend its a work of fiction. Then base your opinions on the author vs who he became.

very informative... well written considering it is a Diary and jumps around a bit... interesting to read about the 'man' before he became Che and how his travels influenced his future 'heroic' life... Love this book
